You may have coverage from other sources that provides you with similar benefits but may be subject to different restrictions depending upon your other coverages.     Assistance Services
    Expenses incurred from third party vendors for all assistance services not part of a filed insurance plan are the responsibility of the traveler.

  • Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains

    Covers evacuation and transportation to the adequate licensed medical facility of the Insured’s choice or home if medically necessary. Pays for special medical escort if recommended in writing by the attending Physician.

  • Medical & Dental Expenses

    Pays this benefit, up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits. Pays for necessary medical expenses incurred while on a Trip provided initial treatment was received while on an overnight Trip with a Destination of at least 100 miles from home. Primary Coverage.

  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment

    Pays for loss of life or limb if it occurs within 365 days of an accident during your Trip.

  • Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion

    The Company will not pay for any loss or expense incurred as the result of an Injury, Sickness or other condition of an Insured, Traveling Companion, Business Partner or Family Member which, within the 180 day period immediately preceding and including the Insured’s coverage effective date: (a) first manifested itself, worsened, became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment; (b) for which care or treatment was given or recommended by a Physician; (c) required taking prescription drugs or medicines, unless the condition for which the drugs or medicines are taken remains controlled without any change in the required prescription drugs or medicines.

  • Trip Cancellation & Interruption

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if you are prevented from taking your trip due to a covered reason.

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if your trip is interrupted due to a covered event. Also provides reimbursement for the additional transportation cost to return home or rejoin your group.

  • Trip Interruption — Return Air Only

    Reimburses the additional airline transportation expenses up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits incurred by you to reach the return destination for Trip Interruptions due to one of the Unforeseen events. However, the benefit payable will not exceed the cost of economy airfare (or same class as your original tickets) by the most direct route, less any refunds paid or payable.

  • Ticket Change Fee

    Reimburses the fee charged by a Common Carrier for changing a ticket prior to the scheduled Departure Date due to any of the Unforeseen events listed under Trip Cancellation and Interruption, subject to Maximum Benefit.

  • Trip Delay

    Reimburses up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits for Reasonable, Additional Expenses for meals, accommodations, taxi fares, and essential phone calls, if your Trip is delayed for more than 5 hours due to covered reasons. Per day limits apply.

  • Missed Connection

    Reimburses this benefit up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits if Inclement Weather or Common Carrier causes cancellation or a delay of regularly scheduled airline flights for three or more hours to your point of departure.

  • Car Rental Collision Coverage

    $35,000 in primary coverage. Covers physical damage to a rental car for which the car rental contract would hold you responsible.

  • Security Evacuation

    If, as a result of an Occurrence that takes place during an Insured’s Trip and while traveling outside his or her Home Country, an Insured requires a Security Evacuation, the Insurer will pay a benefit to Transport the Insured to the Nearest Place of Safety.

  • Baggage & Sporting Equipment

    Can reimburse you if your baggage or personal effects are lost, stolen or damaged while on your Trip, subject to the Maximum Benefit. Primary Coverage.

    The Company will reimburse the Insured up to a maximum of $5,000 for the first item and thereafter, $5,000 per each additional item, $5,000 aggregate on all Losses to: jewelry, watches, furs, cameras and camera equipment, camcorders, computers, and electronic devices. Items over $150 must be accompanied by original receipts.

    Benefit limit differs per plan.

  • Baggage Delay

    If your Baggage is delayed more than 6 hours, you can be Reimbursed for the purchase of Necessary Personal Effects, up to the Maximum Limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Baggage Return

    Reimbursement for shipping expenses incurred for lost or stolen baggage, up to $1,000.

  • Baggage Delivery

    Reimburses the delivery charge from the common carrier for checked baggage or sporting equipment which was delayed, up to $1,000.

  • 24/7 Emergency Assistance Services

    These services offer on-the-spot and immediate assistance for unexpected problems that can arise during your trip. The hotline operates 24/7 for help anytime, any place while traveling.

  • Concierge Services

    Whatever you need, whenever, wherever you need it, you can call on your own personal assistant to help. Services include tee time reservations, restaurant referrals and reservations, wireless device assistance, sporting or theater tickets, and more.

  • Identity Theft Resolution Services

    If your identity is stolen during your Trip, our emergency travel counselors will assist in contacting your credit card companies, monitoring your credit report and working with local authorities to help you restore your identity.
